Sterisept Forte is fenol, aldehyde and phosphate free product for the cleaning and disinfecting of medical devices’ surfaces. Destroys bacteria (incl. Mycobacterium tuberculosis), viruses (incl. HBV, HIV, Adeno, Rota) and fungi. Due to the surfactants contained in the product, it has good cleaning qualities. The substance is material friendly.
Sterisepte Forte is suitable for all water-tolerant surfaces of medical devices. Used for disinfective washing of surfaces in medical institutions, incl. hospital catering services.
Good cleaning qualities and low concentrations enable economical usage of the product.
Clean rooms (floors, walls, doors, windowsills) and devices with solution. Cleaned surfaces do not need to be rinsed.
As Sterisept Forte has passed tests with BVDV (HCV surrogate) viruses, it deactivates all encapsulated viruses. Based on the tests it is safe to say that Sterisept Forte is effective against viruses passed on through blood (HBV, HCV and HIV) and virus groups like orthomyxo viruses [H5N1, A(H1N1)] and herpes viruses (Herpes simplex).
The manufacturing process is in accordance with quality management systems ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO1400. The ISO standards are implemented to assure that products are of highest quality and environmentally friendly, guaranteeing the avoidance of environment pollution hazard.
Sterisept Forte also holds CE labeling in accordance with the Directive for Medical Devices (MDD).
The working solution is made by diluting the concentrate in water (at room temperature). The ready working solution should be preserved in air-tight containers, at a temperature not below +5°C. The working solution is useable for 14 days. Sterisept Forte cannot be used with aldehydes, therefore avoid using substances which contain aldehydes before and after disinfecting with Sterisept Forte.
Product has corrosive effect.
Harmful if swallowed. In case of swallowing, drink plenty of water and seek medical advice.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
In case of contact with skin, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Avoid contact with aldehyde containing substances.
